Presenting at Mythologium 2024!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be presenting my paper on “Chinese Underworld Mythology” at the International Society for Myth’s Mythologium conference, which will take place from November 8th to 10th, 2024. This will be my debut presentation at an academic conference.

The International Society for Mythology (ISM) is a global community dedicated to the exploration, study, and preservation of mythological traditions. ISM provides a forum for interdisciplinary studies, bridging ancient wisdom and modern interpretations across various fields such as literature, psychology, anthropology, and the arts. Their mission is to promote a robust understanding of mythology, facilitate scholarly research, and create a vibrant community for professionals, students, and enthusiasts.

The Mythologium conference is ISM’s annual gathering. This year’s theme is “Myth and Creativity”. It is a premier event for mythologists and scholars to explore and discuss the profound narratives that shape our understanding of the world. The conference will feature a variety of presentations and interactive sessions that highlight the insights from mythological stories and their contemporary relevance.
